The Provincial Fiber Inspection Center recommends the “Fujian Fiber Practice” for the high-quality development of Fujian’s textile industry to international training classes
Recently, 25 officials from 11 countries participating in the “Training Course for Developing Countries on Implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development – Global Partnership Topic” training project visited Fuzhou. While in Fuzhou, the officials visited the Fujian Fiber Inspection Center. The Fujian Provincial Fiber Inspection Center introduced the center’s achievements in promoting the highquality development process of the textile industry to the officials of the training class, and expressed its intention to expand pragmatic cooperation and work together to open up new prospects for innovative development. will.
At the exchange meeting, Pan Xingxing, director of the Fujian Provincial Fiber Inspection Center, introduced to the officials a brief history of China’s textile development, the Maritime Silk Road and its origins in Fujian, China and even an overview of Fujian’s textile and apparel industry. In recent years, Fujian has vigorously promoted intelligent transformation, increased investment in technological innovation and implemented quality improvement actions. Create a modern textile industry with the most complete industrial chain and the first scale to exceed one trillion yuan, and continue to transform and upgrade in the direction of branding and high added value. Nearly half of China’s nylon and chemical fiber yarns, one-third of shoes and cotton blended yarns, and one-fifth of China’s clothing and gray fabrics are produced in Fujian. Shoeexport ranks first in the country, and one pair of every five pairs of sports shoes in the world is “made in Fujian”. On the basis of this huge industry, the Fujian Provincial Fiber Inspection Center is the only government third-party fiber inspection and research institution in Fujian Province. It is the first fiber inspection institution in China to be accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). It has ISO, EN , AATCC and other national, regional and organizational standards, it has played an irreplaceable technical support role in promoting the “quality, volume and efficiency improvement” of the textile and apparel industry for many years.
During the visit, the officials of the training class were amazed by the Fujian Provincial Fiber Inspection Center’s protective products and fiber yarn laboratories, textile color fastness testing and ecological shoes and clothing product testing laboratories, and ecological and microbiological laboratories. Humoyun Mirzo Isom Yusufbuev, a leading economic and financial expert from Uzbekistan, said: “From a fiber to a piece of clothing, the center insists on technology-enabled inspection and testing quality and efficiency, allowing’ Chinese standards have gone global, continued to improve key testing technologies and standard systems for textile ecological safety, and achieved win-win socioeconomic and ecological benefits, which are worthy of learning and reference.”
In the next step, the Fujian Provincial Fiber Inspection Center will achieve the output of “Fujian Fiber Inspection Practice” through three efforts. Adhere to the international cooperation orientation of giving priority to development. Adhere to the people-centered development concept and strive to create more cooperative projects that benefit the people’s livelihood, promote economic development and improve people’s livelihood. Promote post-epidemic economic recovery that is inclusive and mutually supportive. It is hoped that all parties involved in the inspection and exchange will strengthen contact and communication, build a global economic recovery partnership, actively integrate into the overall global development, and help the global economic sustainable recovery. Deepen practical cooperation in green and low-carbon fields. Focusing on the development trend of “low-carbonization and no-carbonization”, we will accelerate the expansion of cooperation in the fields of green economy, ecology, and functional textiles, and promote the establishment of high-quality partnerships to achieve new results.
