Guangzhou Thirteenth Chamber of Commerce and Zhongda Fabric Chamber of Commerce visited Chaonan District
Recently, a delegation from the Guangzhou Thirteenth Chamber of Commerce and the Zhongda Fabric Chamber of Commerce came to Jingdu Town, Longtian Town, and Xiashan Street in Chaonan District for on-site inspections. They were received by Xu Guangqi, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, District Mayor Zhang Xiaokeng and other district leaders warmly received the guests, and conducted in-depth discussions on the cooperation in planning and building a professional procurement base for home furnishings in China.
In the afternoon, Wang Dongliang, Chairman of Zhongda Fabric Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Guangzhou Dongyu Textile Technology Co., Ltd., Lin Chuangwei, Executive Chairman and Chairman of Guangzhou Tianyu Textile Technology Co., Ltd., and other Guangzhou Thirteen Banks Chamber of Commerce visited the Guangzhou Thirteen Banks Chamber of Commerce. Relevant personnel from the delegation visited the District Textile Printing and DyeingEnvironmental Protection Comprehensive Treatment Center, Shantou Shengye Weaving and Dyeing Co., Ltd., the Park Sewage Plant Operation Monitoring System, and the Longtian Town Rural Revitalization Demonstration Zone , Xiashan Street Beihuan Avenue South (Yiying Section), Xiashan Street Yiyinge-commerce Street carried out on-site inspections and listened to relevant situation introductions.

The textile and clothing industry is an important pillar industry in Chaonan District. Our district has now become one of the largest origins of home clothing, underwear, underwear auxiliary materials and accessories with the largest scale and the densest concentration of textile and clothing production companies in the country and even the world. The total output value of the textile and clothing industry will exceed 70 billion in 2021. In the first half of 2022, the output value of the textile and clothing industry will exceed RMB 31.878 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%, accounting for more than 60% of the region’s industrial output value.
Xu Guangqi pointed out that the textile and clothing industry is the top priority of Chaonan’s industry, and Chaonan District attaches great importance to the development of the textile and clothing industry. At this stage, our district has actively implemented the construction of Shantou City’s “Four Major Projects” and hastened to promote the construction of a professional procurement base for home furnishings in China. It is hoped that through this inspection, both parties can strengthen communication, support each other, jointly promote strong cooperation in the textile and apparel industry, achieve a win-win situation, and achieve higherquality develop.
Wang Dongliang said at the symposium that he gained a lot from this visit and also felt the development strength of the textile and garment industry in Chaonan District. He hoped that the two parties could achieve resource integration, information sharing and joint exploration through the next step of cooperation. A new development model for the fashion industry, contributing to the development of China’s fashion apparel industry.
At the meeting, the participants also watched the Chaonan District promotional video and the “work-to-work” project promotional video, and exchanged and discussed the “work-to-work” project in the Longling area of Liangying Town.
