Bangladesh’s apparel exports to Canada decline
According to a report by Bangladesh’s “Daily Star” on April 10, Bangladesh’s total apparel exports to Canada from July to December 2016 were US$440 million, a year-on-year decrease of 7%. Hassan, vice chairman of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturing and Export Association, said that Canada is one of the main markets for Bangladesh’s garment exports.
