According to Urumqi Customs statistics, from January to October 2019, the export value of textile yarn, fabrics and products from Xinjiang ports was 4.859 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 12.92%; the export value of clothing and clothing accessories was 264.39 billion, a year-on-year increase of 17.77%.
From January to October 2019, the cotton import volume at Xinjiang ports was 1.334 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.08%; the total import volume of textile yarn, fabrics and products was 203 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.08%. An increase of 40.64%; the import value of textile machinery and parts was 566 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 55.30%.
