520,000 acres of cotton sowing begins in Wensu County, Xinjiang
Recently, in the cotton field of Tigen Farm, Tigen Village, Guleawati Township, Wensu County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang, with the help of satellite navigation, four cotton seeders were shuttled back and forth in the cotton field, laying mulch film and drip irrigation belts , precision sowing and other aspects are proceeding in an orderly manner.
This year Wensu County plans to sow 520,000 acres of cotton, which is expected to be completed in mid-April. Cotton will be fully mechanized in arable land, sowing, management, and harvesting.
