The National Sericulture Industry Technology System Expert Group went to Longlin County, Guangxi to conduct research and technical assistance and guidance
From June 8th to 10th, a group of five people including Wen Liuying, head of the Guangxi Longlin Mission of the National Science and Technology Mission and director of the Baise Comprehensive Experiment Station of the National Sericulture Industry Technology System, went to Longlin County to carry out sericulture. The industrial research and technical assistance and guidance work provided strong technical support for the development of the sericulture industry in Longlin County.
Longlin County’s persistent high temperature and drought weather this year has had a great impact on the normal growth of mulberry trees and the sericulture industry. The national sericulture system expert team visited Huchang Village, Kechang Township, Dalan Village, Longhe Town, and Zhuchang Township. Yangjie Village conducted on-site research on silkworm breeding and mulberry orchard management, learned in detail about the development status of the local sericulture industry, and conducted special training on mulberry orchard management and protection, water and fertilizer management, and pest and disease control.
At the training site, the masses listened attentively to the expert technical training. During the exchange and interaction session, the experts gave answers one by one to the actual breeding situation and the technical problems raised by the masses at the scene. The atmosphere was very warm, and it was well received by the masses and achieved good social effects. .
A total of more than 300 people participated in this training. In the next step, national sericulture system experts will continue to provide technical assistance and guidance in the development of the sericulture industry, focus on solving technical bottlenecks, continue to cultivate and expand the sericulture industry in the county, and realize the revitalization of the rural industry.
