There are several kinds of wetsuit fabrics. Which kind of wetsuit fabric is better?
How many types of wetsuit fabrics are there? Which wetsuit fabric is better? Diving material is a kind of synthetic rubber foam, available in white and black. Black is more commonly used. It has a delicate feel, softness, and elasticity. It has the characteristics of shockproof, heat preservation, elasticity, impermeability, and airtightness. It is widely used in the manufacture of diving materials, so everyone gave it an easy-to-understand name: Neoprene (Neoprene). There are two main types of wetsuit fabrics: dry diving suits and wet diving suits.
Wet suit: This wet suit is made of foam rubber or nylon cloth and is worn close to the body. A wetsuit must fit snugly against the skin, with the small amount of water that enters being stagnant between the suit and the skin to maintain body temperature.
Dry diving suit: There are currently two common wetsuit fabrics: nylon cloth and Lycra cloth. The central linings of these two fabrics are foam rubber, so as long as the thickness is the same, the two fabrics are made of Wetsuits all have the same thermal effect. The difference between these two fabrics is their surface fabric, one is nylon cloth and the other is Lycra cloth. Lycra has more threads per unit area and is knitted densely, so it is more wear-resistant. In addition, Lycra has better elasticity, so wetsuits made of Lycra will not deform. Overall, Lycra wetsuits will last longer than nylon wetsuits.
