This measure also aims to stop the current phenomenon of counterfeit SORONA® hangtags flooding the market.
It should be noted that all existing SORONA® hang tags, marketing materials and co-branded hang tags bearing the DuPont trademark name will cease to be distributed after March 31, 2023, and will cease to be used and recognized starting in December 2023 .

Online tag application system andProcess
The new version of SORONA® hangtag will be online for applications on November 1, 2022. The original SORONA® certified fabric and hangtag application process remains unchanged, and you can still apply for a hangtag by visiting cert.sorona.com.
The following documents are required for the application process
1. SORONA® fabric certification certificate or raw material composition testing email.
2. SORONA® yarn purchase certificate/invoice.
3. Use of SORONA® hang tags, brand contacts and finished product launch information.
The specific application steps are as follows:
Step 1: Register as a user
Registered user address: http://cert.sorona.com/Register
For new user registration, the SORONA® tag team will complete the review within 1-2 working days and notify you of the review results by email.
Step 2: Apply for hangtag online
1) Apply online
You can click My Application in the certification system to check your certified fabrics, and click Apply for Tags to jump directly to the SORONA® Tag System to apply for tags.
2) After SORONA® approves your application, the SORONA® tag team will review your application within 1-2 working days and notify you of the application result by email.
3) PI sending and payment After your application is approved, the professional business team of the tag factory will review the order within 1-2 working days and send the PI online. You make payment based on the PI sent by the hang tag factory business team. If payment is not made within 24 hours, the system will send an email notifying you of payment.
4) Uploading the water bill and shipping After completing the payment, please upload the water bill into the system. After the system receives the water order, it will be arranged for delivery within 5-7 working days.
