On March 29, 2023, a group of 7 sericulture experts including Dong Zhanpeng and Wu Kejun from the Sericulture and Bee Research Institute of the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences went to the state economic production station to guide the sericulture industry work. Webmaster Yu Haixing reported on the basic situation of the development of the sericulture industry in Dehong Prefecture. The first is the existing planting area, production area, main varieties, the number of towns and farmers involved, and the output value; the second is the introduction of insufficient attention to the development of the sericulture industry and lack of confidence in development; the utilization rate of mulberry orchards is not high. , the overall output efficiency is low; the construction of silkworm houses lags behind, and the breeding rate of silkworms is not high; it is difficult to develop large-scale mulberry gardens, technical services are not in place, infrastructure construction lags behind, and high-quality development is difficult; the industrial chain does not extend long, and the industrial output value is not high. issues in various aspects. Third, the next step of the work will focus on seven aspects: building a base in the market, highlighting the scale and focusing on key points, concentrating and connecting the area to a higher level, relying on leading farmers to lead farmers, innovating models to seek breakthroughs, intensive processing to promote improvement, and market development to increase efficiency.
