“Made in Tongxiang” receives provincial support
Recently, the Provincial Department of Finance and the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology issued the “Notice on the Distribution of Provincial Special Financial Funds for Industrial and Information Development in 2023 (Second Batch)”, Tongxiang Modern Textile and ClothingIndustrial Cluster received a special financial incentive fund of 10 million yuan for the cultivation of “Made in Zhejiang” provincial characteristic industrial cluster core area and collaborative area.
This year, Zhejiang proposed to implement the “415X” advanced manufacturing cluster cultivation project, and Tongxiang City’s modern textile and clothing industry cluster was included in the first batch of “Made in Zhejiang” provincial characteristic industry cluster core area collaborative zone creation list.
As one of the first batch of industrially powerful cities in Zhejiang Province, advanced manufacturing has always been the basis for Tongxiang’s development. Especially in terms of textile and clothing industry clusters, Tongxiang has gathered a number of leading enterprises in the industry such as Tongkun, Xinfengming, and Xinao Textile, and has a complete “raw materials – spinning – weaving – dyeing and finishing – garments – sales” industrial chain. In 2022, Tongxiang City’s cluster operating revenue will be 105.9 billion yuan, accounting for 10% of similar industries in Zhejiang Province.
Now, with the injection of fiscal “living water”, the capital pool for development can be “full”.
How to distribute this 10 million yuan “big cake”? The funds will be distributed this year in proportions of 40%, 30%, and 30% respectively in three categories: industrial projects, platform projects, and activity entities.
Specifically, Tongxiang City will refine and decompose the tasks in the three areas of industrialization of new textile technologies, digital design capabilities, industrial collaboration and flexible rapid response levels, clarify specific projects, and target efforts.
Technological advancement has always been the core of Tongxiang City’s continued expansion of its industrial scale. This year, Tongxiang City will strengthen research and innovation in the fields of lightweight polyester fiber, bio-based chemical fiber and other fields, and promote the annual production of 600,000 tons of lightweight, comfortable and functional differentiated fiber projects. Annual production line construction project of 2,000 tons of high-grade wool and cashmere yarn, 14,500 tons of high-grade knitted fabrics, and 8.25 million meters of high-grade woven fabric products, with an annual output of 2.2 million pieces of fashionable women’s clothing, 1.8 million A number of projects including the new project of 10,000 pieces of children’s clothing were completed and put into production as soon as possible.
As the permanent venue of the World Internet Conference, Tongxiang has natural advantages in developing the digital economy. This year, in the field of modern textile and clothing industry, Tongxiang City will further accelerate the pace of industrial digital transformation. By establishing the Tongxiang fashion industry POP digital design service platform and the Tongxiang fashion industry industrial Internet comprehensive platform, Tongxiang will create a modern textile and clothing industry cluster “design”. +Production” innovative manufacturing system, while providing training on digital design tools and vigorously cultivating digital designtalents.
For an industrial cluster, especially under the influence of complex and changeable economic conditions, fluctuating raw material prices and other factors, whether it can continue to develop well depends on the level of upstream and downstream collaboration and the ability to “flexibly respond quickly”. Therefore, Tongxiang City will build a number of online service platforms, including the Tongxiang POP Flexible Quick Response Industry Service Platform, the Tongxiang Chemical Fiber Industry Industrial Internet Platform, etc., to form a highly close collaboration between the supply side and the demand side, a high degree of information integration and Display and digital integration of all aspects will help the rapid development of textile and clothing clusters.
