Changling Town, Wangjiang County: Developing the Garment Industry to Help Rural Revitalization
Changling Town, Wangjiang County, as a characteristic textile and garment town in Anhui Province, has seized the opportunity in recent years to establish a rural revitalization industrial park, which will be constructed in phases according to the scientific functional planning of the small and micro park. At present, 105 million yuan has been invested, and 9 standardized factory buildings have been built, covering an area of more than 50,000 square meters, and more than 10 textile and garment enterprises have settled in it.
The government, banks and enterprises provide “timely assistance” for pick-up and delivery. The Changling Branch of the Rural Commercial Bank contacted a number of textile companies in the town’s industrial park to learn more about the company’s production and sales, analyze the company’s financing, formulate a one-on-one financing plan, and provide “timely rain”.
Negotiate and communicate to develop “new prescriptions”. Changling Town has established a consultation platform and actively invited the Textile Association to conduct research in the town to provide guidance on the development of Changling’s textile and garment industry from an industry perspective. Through research, participants put forward suggestions for the current development of the industrial park: first, we must vigorously optimize the business environment and further promote the “maximum one visit” reform; second, we must improve the supporting environment surrounding the industrial park and provide employees with housing, education, medical care, and consumption. and other difficult problems to create a good production and living environment; third, we must track the trends in the textile and clothing industry, position reasonably, attract investment accurately, and extend the cotton spinning industry chain in Changling Town through the development of children’s clothing, knitting and other industries.
Consolidate the “number one” position of safety production. The Changling Town CPPCC has convened several consultation meetings to discuss the current development of the park. At the meeting, the Economic and Development Office made a presentation on the “Twenty Policies of Wangjiang County to Support Market Entities in Relief and Stabilizing Economic Growth” and provided detailed answers to questions about various preferential policies and special subsidy fund declarations that enterprises are concerned about.
