The Anhui Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences’ sericulture science and technology mission’s trip to Yuexi and the on-site observation meeting on the transformation of results were successfully held
From September 3 to 5, sponsored by the Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Yuexi County People’s Government, the Academy’s Sericulture Research Institute (Provincial Characteristic Agricultural Technology System), Yuexi County Science and Technology Economic Information Bureau, Yuexi County Undertaken by the County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, the sericulture science and technology mission to Yuexi and the on-site observation meeting on the transformation of results were successfully held in Yuexi County. At the meeting, Zhao Wanping introduced the mission’s personnel structure, base construction, achievement demonstration, technical services, etc., and expressed that the Yuexi Mission is committed to promoting new varieties, new technologies, new models, and new equipment of sericulture in Anhui Province. The transformation of scientific and technological achievements, the improvement of industrial quality and efficiency, and the construction of the entire sericulture industry chain of “Four New” are of great significance to give full play to the service function of sericulture science and technology commissioners and highlight the phased achievements of Anhui Province’s sericulture-empowered rural revitalization. It is necessary to insist on taking the science and technology commissioner system as an important task for scientific and technological innovationtalents to serve rural revitalization, and requires the mission to further clarify its thinking , clarify the direction of development, optimize the industrial structure, work hard, and strive to make new and greater contributions in promoting rural revitalization through science and technology.
This sericulture science and technology mission relies on Anhui Lianfeng Silk Making Co., Ltd., Yuexi County Xingwei Breeding Professional Cooperative, Anhui Hongfang Crafts Co., Ltd. and other service companies in Laibang Town, Lianyun Township, Yuexi County, etc. Build a sericulture standardized planting and breeding demonstration base on site, and provide enterprises with “four new” results in terms of large-scale, labor-saving and healthy breeding of silkworms, silk reeling processing, and sericulture innovationnew productdevelopment. Demonstration, promotion, training, and research on key common issues in production. Nine companies have signed service agreements, involving sericulture production, silk reeling and weaving, innovative product research and development and other industries, with an annual output value exceeding 260 million yuan. Relying on a team of experts with strong technical force and grassroots experts with rich experience, we serve 10 demonstration villages in 5 towns in the main sericulture producing areas of Yuexi: Baimao Town, Laibang Town, Lianyun Township, Maojianshan Township and Qingtian Township. There are more than 2,000 sericulture farmers, the annual output of sericulture exceeds 20,000 boxes, and the annual sericulture output value exceeds 45 million yuan.
The participating experts visited the Yuexi Xingwei Breeding and Breeding Cooperative Sericulture New Varieties Demonstration Base and the Laoya Village Commissioner Workstation Modern Sericulture Greenhouse, and inspected the new silkworm variety “Wanfeng*Xia” selected by the institute for summer and autumn use. “Hui” and Wan mulberry series new varieties of mulberry trees, as well as facilities and equipment such as the independently developed intelligent management system for silkworm rooms, and put forward suggestions and countermeasures for industrial development. At the same time, experts emphasized the need to increase efforts to demonstrate and promote new varieties and new technologies. Labor-saving, intelligent characteristic agricultural machinery and equipment promote the quality and efficiency of the industry and empower highquality development.
The responsible comrades of the Scientific Research Department of the Academy, and more than 80 representatives from the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and more than 30 administrative departments, leading enterprises, cooperatives and other units across the province attended the meeting.
