Recovery in demand provides support to yarn prices in Pakistan
In the week of April 6-12, the recovery of yarn demand in Pakistan provided support to cotton yarn sales and export prices. According to statistics, the price of cotton yarn in Pakistan rose by 1-2% last week. Domestic cotton yarn prices remained stable. Affected by seasonal demand, domestic demand for fine cotton yarn increased; internationally, due to the current inquiries and orders for Sirotex from China More, coupled with tight cotton yarn inventories in the future, cotton yarn prices are expected to quickly return to higher levels.

The price of viscose staple fiber fell further, with the price of CNF Karachi imported from China falling to US$1.99/kg.
