As the main battlefield of Bazhou’s chemical fiber industry, the Petroleum and Petrochemical Industrial Park of Korla Shangku High-tech Industrial Development Zone has planned an industrial development blueprint from a high starting point, a number of major projects have been implemented, and the chemical fiber industry chain has continued to be extended and optimized.
“We have built a modern petroleum and petrochemical industrial park on the Gobi Desert. Especially after the industrial park was upgraded to an autonomous region-level high-tech industrial development zone in 2016, the arrival of leading enterprises in the chemical fiber industry has changed Bazhou’s petroleum and petrochemical raw materials. The current situation of primary processing has strengthened our determination to develop the integration of the entire chemical textile industry chain.” said Xian Zhi, Secretary of the Party Group of Korla Municipal People’s Political Consultative Conference and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Korla Shangku High-tech Industrial Development Zone.
“The integration of the entire chemical textile industry chain has the characteristics of low energy consumption, low emissions, high added value, wide radiation range, and strong employment absorption capacity.” Xianzhi said, with the domestic industry leaders such as Zhongtai and Shaanxi Coal The entry of enterprises has driven chemical and textile downstream enterprises to move from the eastern region to Xinjiang, accelerating the integration of the entire chemical fiber and textile industry chain.
At present, there are 22 textile and garment enterprises in Korla Textile and Garment City, with an annual output of 400,000 tons of viscose short fiber, 100,000 tons of pulp, and 3.3 million tons of refined cotton. 10,000 tons, with an annual production capacity of 4.6 million spindles and 3.5 million pieces of clothing (workwear). Textile and clothing enterprises will employ 8,735 people; in 2021, as the main base of Bazhou’s chemical textile industry chain, Korla Shangshan will host the park. There are 140 projects implemented in the library high-tech industrial development zone, with a total output value of 20.077 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.1%.
Technology empowers the chemical textile industry
Walking into the control center of Xinjiang Korla Zhongtai Petrochemical Co., Ltd. in Korla Shangku High-tech Industrial Development Zone, technicians are skillfully operating CNC equipment and computers… This place is called The “nerve center” of the device control system in the main plant area of PTA(Purified Terephthalic Acid), from which important control instructions in production are issued.
“The control center has realized the intelligentization and automation of the process, which has improved efficiency. The company produced 471,000 tons of PTA in the first half of the year.” Xinjiang Korla Zhongtai Petrochemical Co., Ltd. Rong Limin, deputy secretary of the party committee and general manager of the responsible company, said.
Bazhou leads the improvement of textile value from the raw material side, innovates and develops characteristic low-carbon chemical fiber new materials industry, and creates close upstream and downstream connections, inter-regional collaborative linkage, and a green and efficient cycle An integrated base for the entire chemical fiber and textile industry chain. Bazhou focuses on textile chemical fiber materials and degradable fiber materials, focusing on building four chemical fiber industries: polyester industry chain, spandex industry chain, nylon industry chain, and viscose fiber industry chain. chain.
“The downstream of the polyester industry can extend the industrial chain of chemical spinning, blending, non-woven, clothing, and household daily necessities. The spandex industry using natural gas as raw material extends downward and can be blended with cotton to produce high-end sportswear, swimwear, etc. Garment fabrics and ready-made garments and other products.” Xianzhi said that at present, Bazhou has formed the country’s largest BDO (1,4-butanediol) production base, with a production capacity of 300,000 tons, and PTA The production capacity reaches 1.2 million tons, including 850,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 1.5 million tons of urea production capacity, 450,000 tons of light hydrocarbon production capacity and 600,000 tons of ethylene production capacity.
In 2021, Bazhou’s development of the entire chemical textile industry chain was included in the national “14th Five-Year Plan”.”Special Type Area Revitalization and Development Plan”, Bazhou seizes its policy advantages and makes simultaneous efforts across the entire industry chain to promote the high-quality development of the chemical fiber textile industry.
For a long time, my country’s ethylene industry has lacked ethane resources, and equipment technology has mainly relied on imports from abroad. In 2019, Tarim’s 600,000 tons/year ethane-to-ethylene project started construction in the Korla Shangku High-tech Industrial Development Zone. This is my country’s first “own technology + own resources” project; Xinjiang Zhongkun New Materials Co., Ltd. 2 *The 600,000 tons/year natural gas to ethylene glycol project can transform natural gas from a traditional fuel into a production raw material, achieve a revolutionary transformation from fuel to raw material, and raw material to material, and form an industrial coupling development trend.
Green and low-carbon transformation and development
Walking into the production area of Xinjiang Meike Chemical Co., Ltd., there are many towers, pipelines, green grass on the roadside, and blooming flowers. A modern garden factory reveals a fresh beauty.
The company actively responded to the national call for “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” and made every effort to promote carbon emission reduction work. “The company has carried out more than 120 technical transformation projects of various types, with a total investment of 670 million yuan, and has successively built the largest gas membrane structure coal yard in Xinjiang’s chemical industry, completed desulfurization, denitrification and ultra-low emission technological transformation of thermal power plants, etc., and achieved good economic benefits. and social benefits.” Song Zhimin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Xinjiang Meike Chemical Co., Ltd., said that the company has successively won honors such as “National High-tech Enterprise” and “National Green Factory”.
It is understood that after the implementation of the tar comprehensive utilization technical transformation project of Xinjiang Meike Chemical Co., Ltd., it saved 13,400 tons of standard coal every year, reduced hazardous waste emissions by 16,000 tons, and generated benefits of 16.25 million yuan; after the implementation of the acetylene tail gas recovery project , annual production cost savings of 12.58 million yuan; after the implementation of the high-grade acetylene recycling project, annual benefits increased by 8.9 million yuan, achieving an orderly connection between the three major links of “technological innovation-technical verification-putting into production”.
Now, the company is cooperating with Bazhou Guanghe Gas Resources Co., Ltd. to build a new 150,000 tons/year liquid CO2 recovery device. This project is the first carbon emission reduction project implemented in Bazhou.
In the process of promoting the construction of an integrated base for the entire chemical textile industry chain, Bazhou regards energy conservation and consumption reduction as an important starting point to promote green transformation and high-quality development, conscientiously implements various measures of “dual control” of energy consumption, and creates Greenenvironmentally friendly base.
At present, the Korla Shangku High-tech Industrial Development Zone has launched the creation of a green, low-carbon and low-price demonstration park, planning a 240-square-kilometer photovoltaic industrial park in the desert Gobi, and building an integrated source, grid, load and storage and an incremental distribution network to achieve Green, low-carbon and low electricity prices will accelerate the agglomeration effect of petroleum and petrochemical projects, and undertake high-quality industrial group, chain and cluster transfers in the eastern and central regions.
