The Anhui Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has identified three units as provincial silkworm germplasm resource protection units (first batch)
According to the “Notice of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on Implementing the Main Responsibility for the Protection of Agricultural Germplasm Resources and Carrying out the Registration of Agricultural Germplasm Resources” (Nongzhongfa﹝2020﹞No. 2) and the “Anhui Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on Carrying out Provincial Level Silkworm Germplasm Resource Protection” According to the requirements of the “Notice on Unit Determination Work” (Wannong Special Letter (2022) No. 475), after public application, municipal-level preliminary review, and expert review, the Anhui Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs determined that 3 units including the Sericulture Research Institute of the Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences are provincial-level Silkworm germplasm resources protection unit (first batch).
