On the 9th, reporters learned from the Agricultural and Rural Affairs Bureau of Aksu Prefecture in Xinjiang that the Xinjiang Corps is currently rushing to assist large-scale cotton pickers in the cotton fields of Kuqa City. In 2022, the total cotton planting area in Kuqa City is more than 1.9 million acres. 700,000 acres have been harvested in the early stage, and there are more than 1.2 million acres left.
In order to fully support Kuqa City in completing the cotton harvest as scheduled, Alar City, the First Division of the Xinjiang Corps, dispatched 19 large-scale cotton picking machines to assist Kuqa City. It is reported that all the cotton picking and baling machines that went to Kuqa City this time are all-in-one cotton picking and baling machines, commonly known as “egg-laying machines”. This cotton picking machine can realize the integration of cotton picking, cotton collection, packaging and ejection. In the next step, Alar City, the First Division of the Xinjiang Corps, will also organize a second batch of 20 large-scale cotton picking machines to assist Kuqa to speed up the progress of cotton harvesting and help Kuqa City complete the cotton harvesting work as scheduled.
