Implement the subsidy policy. Subsidy funds of 367,100 yuan were issued, including 126,300 yuan of support funds for the purchase of spring cocoons and 115,500 yuan of support funds for the purchase of summer cocoons. We are trying to raise 540,800 yuan of funds to be paid in autumn and late autumn to effectively provide guarantee for the development of mulberry farmers.

Through various forms and channels of publicity and guidance, the scale of mulberry planting and sericulture in the county has expanded year by year.
As of the end of October this year, the county’s mulberry orchard area reached 87,800 acres, and 66,279 boxes of silkworm seeds were raised. It is expected to produce 2,750 tons of fresh cocoons. Silkworm farmers have achieved a revenue of 165 million yuan from cocoon sales, achieving an average household income increase of more than 20,000 yuan; Chuxiong Dayang Cocoon Silk Co., Ltd. plans to resume trial operation of two sets of 800-thread reeling production lines by the end of the year, with an annual production of 10,000 meters of silk fabrics and an output value of more than 60 million yuan.
