Focus on key common technologies in the industry and build Shanghai Advanced Technology Textile Innovation Center
On November 15, Zhang Hongtao, chief engineer of the Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission, led a team to visit Oriental International (Group) Shanghai Textile Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. to investigate and promote the establishment of Shanghai Advanced Technology Textile Innovation Center. Shi Fang, deputy director of Yangpu District, accompanied the investigation.
Zhang Hongtao visited the Shanghai Textile Science and Technology Innovation Center and Textile Testing Laboratory, listened to a report on the preparations for the manufacturing innovation center, and expressed his affirmation of the preliminary preparations for the Shanghai Advanced Technology Textile Innovation Center. He pointed out that first, Oriental International (Group) should give full play to its industry influence, coordinate national textile innovation resources, and complete the establishment of Shanghai Manufacturing Innovation Center as soon as possible. Second, the innovation center should focus on key common technologies in the textile industry, benchmark against national-level manufacturing innovation centers, build innovation centers with high standards, and enhance the innovation capabilities of Shanghai’s textile industry. Third, Shanghai City, Yangpu District, as well as innovation center shareholders and alliance members must work together to promote the construction of Shanghai Advanced Technology Textile Innovation Center and strive to upgrade it to a national-level manufacturing innovation center as soon as possible.
