Sun Ruizhe, president of the China Textile Industry Federation, said on the 31st that at present, my country’s textile equipment self-sufficiency rate exceeds 80%, and key basic parts of high-end equipment are domestically produced. The rate reaches more than 50%. The China Textile and Apparel Industry Federation will rely on China Hengtian, a subsidiary of SINOMACH, to build the “AdvancedTextile Machinery Innovation Consortium”, which will further integrate industrial resources and implement industrial base reconstruction projects and major Technical and equipment research projects to promote highquality development of textile machinery.
Sun Ruizhe made the above statement at the launch meeting of the three-year action to revitalize textile machinery held by China National Machinery Industry Corporation in Beijing on the 31st.
Sun Ruizhe said that textile machinery is an important symbol of the development level and comprehensive strength of the textile industry. It is the engine of industrytransformation and upgrading and the cornerstone of the stability of the industrial chain. The steady development of my country’s textile machinery has achieved the scale, system and innovation advantages of the textile industry.
Zhang Xiaolun, chairman of SINOMACH, said at the meeting that the next three years will be a critical stage for the textile machinery industry to enter a deep structural adjustment. SINOMACH has launched a three-year action to revitalize textile machinery and will promote it through linkageTechnological innovationproject, product improvement project, etc., strive to improve the core competitiveness of the textile machinery industry and ensure the security of the supply chain of the textile machinery industry chain.
At the meeting, the awarding ceremony of the “Advanced Textile Machinery Innovation Consortium” established by China Textile Industry Federation relying on China Hengtian was held. Sun Ruizhe said that the two parties will jointly organize and promote the construction of an innovation consortium organizational model and operating mechanism, and carry out collaborative research. In the next step, the China Textile and Apparel Industry Federation will continue to guide and support China Hengtian to leverage its advantages, integrate upstream and downstream resources in the industry chain, concentrate on solving “stuck neck” technologies, and improve the overall level of the textile machinery industry.
