The 4th Sericulture Culture Festival of Hunan Province opens in Li
On the morning of May 3, the 4th Hunan Province Sericulture Technology and Cultural Industry Conference and Mulberry Picking Festival opened in the Mulberry Garden of Gucheng Village, Guoci Street. At the scene, the garden was full of mulberries that were picked and eaten right away, and there were also a variety of specialties to choose from. Visitors said it was so fun.
Yang Dongfa, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, announced the opening of the event. Afterwards, everyone went deep into the garden to pick. Mulberry trees are everywhere here, and tempting mulberry fruits are within reach.
“Mulberries are quite good. I picked a lot of them and they are quite delicious.” said Ms. Song, a citizen who came to pick mulberries.
“We now have three major series of products, including mulberry enzyme, mulberry wine, and mulberry tea. In fact, our medicinal mulberries are dedicated to allowing all citizens to have a healthy body, and we are contributing to rural revitalization. Power.” Zhang Yonghua, general manager of Junhua Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., shared sericulture culture in detail with reporters and introduced medicinal mulberry products. Currently, nearly 1,000 acres of mulberries in the company’s nine bases are in peak production.
It is understood that this Sericulture Cultural Festival will last until May 25. Citizens can taste mulberry fruits in the park, and also have parent-child camping and barbecues.
