Inditex launches sub-brand OyshoSport to join the sportswear market
Spanish Expansión daily reported that Spanish apparel retail leader Inditex Group announced the launch of its sub-brand OyshoSport, which will target nine sports series of apparel products in the future, including running, boxing, tennis, fitness, water sports, yoga, hiking, skiing, and cycling.
Oysho said in a statement that in the future, it will apply technology to sports fashion, using pressure functional fabrics to make muscle tissue operate more efficiently, or using SensilInnergy nylon 6.6 fiber to adjust body comfort.
Oysho is the 6th largest brand under the Inditex Group (statistics as of October 31, 2018). Its products are mainly home furnishings, underwear, swimwear and other apparel.
