Indonesia launches safeguard measures investigation into imported carpets and other floor coverings made of textile materials
On June 12, 2020, the WTO Safeguards Committee released the safeguard notification submitted to it by the Indonesian delegation on that day. On June 10, 2020, in response to the Indonesian Textile Association’s application on June 5, 2020, the Indonesian Safeguards Measures Committee launched a safeguard measure investigation into imported carpets and other floor coverings of textile materials (Carpets and Other Textile Floor Coverings). Stakeholders should register their responses in paper and electronic versions within 15 days of filing the case. The hearing is expected to be held at 10 am on July 20, 2020 It will be held from 12:00 to 12:00. Stakeholders participating in the hearing should submit relevant evidence documents before July 16.
