Recently, the first batch of silkworm cocoons were purchased from Shiquan County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. Sericulture farmers who have been busy for a season are happy to welcome a bumper harvest.
At the cocoon purchase point of Qingnijian Village Committee, Zhongchi Town, Shiquan County, there is an endless stream of silkworm farmers who come to sell cocoons.
It is understood that the two sericulture companies in Shiquan County have ten purchase points in the county. At a local sericulture purchasing company, silkworm farmers came on motorcycles to sell silkworm cocoons.
In recent years, Shiquan County has continuously improved the scale, standardization and industrialization level of local sericulture through measures such as processing high-quality feed, promoting sericulture insurance, and launching industry reward and subsidy policies, so that the cocoon output andQuality has been improved, and silkworm farmers’ enthusiasm for raising silkworms has been further enhanced.
