.Cotton/linen interwoven fabric is color-matched with reduced brilliant purple R blue RSN dark blue BO. When dyeing in dark colors (suspension pad dyeing), the fabric has more serious streaks. How to improve it?
Answer: There are many reasons why fabric squiggles occur in vat dye suspension pad dyeing. The main reasons are discussed below.
① Since hemp fiber contains a lot of pectin and wax and is difficult to remove, it is recommended to strengthen the scouring effect in the scouring bath, such as adding a high-efficiency scouring agent, so that the wool effect will be improved. Strengthen the yarn finishing process before dyeing to ensure uniform adsorption of dyes on the fabric.
② Suspension pad dyeing requires that more than 80% of the dye particles have a diameter of less than 2 μm, and no large particles of more than 10/μm exist.
If it does not meet the above requirements, it is necessary to add diffusing agent and grind it to the requirements. It is advisable to use cold water for chemical materials. A stirrer is installed in the chemical tank to prevent dye precipitation and cause dyeing defects.
③ An appropriate amount of gelatin can be added to the pad dyeing solution to improve the viscosity of the dyeing solution, reduce the dye precipitation rate in the dyeing solution, and improve the relative stability of the dyeing solution. Furthermore, due to the addition of gelatin, the dye uptake rate is slowed down and the leveling effect is improved.
④ Increase the concentration of the reducing solution and the temperature of the reducing steam oven appropriately. Since the negative reduction and oxidation potentials of reduced brilliant violet 2R, blue RSN, and dark blue BO are all between 860 and 900mV, the reduction of dyes is more difficult, so insurance powder, The concentration of caustic soda can be increased to (20±1) g/L and 22~25g/L. The reducing steam temperature is increased to 105~108℃ to fully reduce and dye the dye.
⑤The tension in the reduction steamer should be as small as possible. After the fabric is immersed in the reducing solution, the amount of liquid carried is quite large, and the fabric has to be bent multiple times by the cloth guide roller in the steamer. If the tension is too high, it may cause uneven liquid loading on the cloth surface, resulting in fabric snagging.
