Three years of persistence behind the scenes

According to Yu Husheng, it took about three years from development to production. “These are substances extracted from Daqing leaves. The so-called Daqing leaves are the leaves of Isatis root that we are familiar with. They contain antibacterial ingredients such as glycosides and ketone organic acids. We use special technology to add them to pure viscose spinning. In the silk liquid, fibers with antibacterial effects are woven into fibers, and then the fibers are blended into yarn and processed into knitted products. According to Yu Husheng, the Daqing leaf extract is a yellow-brown powder that smells like traditional Chinese medicine. Knitted clothing made from the extract has obvious antibacterial effects on Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, etc.

“Before this, some socks and underwear have been successfully developed.” Yu Husheng said that starting this year, through cooperation with enterprises, fiber fabrics extracted from isatis leaves have been experimentally made. I bought a small amount of socks and underwear, and after repeated tests, I found that the socks are also very effective in preventing foot odor. Moreover, socks and underwear made of this kind of fabric have a softer and more delicate feel than ordinary fabrics, and are more elastic.

According to Shan Xiuduo, considering the particularity of this kind of fabric, the next step will be to focus on the research and development and production of infant underwear. It is expected that this new type of “drug coat” will be on the market within two months. In terms of price, Shan Xiuduo said that although the price of this kind of underwear is not yet certain, it will be a little higher than ordinary underwear, but not too high.

Research aimed at industrialization

“I started researching this invention in 2011, and it took three years of hard work to successfully develop it. Because of the high scientific and technological content, some data need to be repeatedly demonstrated before it can enter actual production. Its characteristic is antibacterial and anti-odor.” Yu Husheng said that this kind of clothes can resist Candida albicans, E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus, and it has been verified by an expert group that the effect will not weaken within 54 times of washing with laundry detergent.

Yu Husheng said that in addition to being antibacterial and anti-odor, this special fabric made of fiber extracted from isatis leaves also has some characteristics that other fabrics do not have. For example, Banlangen cloth does not have a back�The process of adding chemical substances during processing makes it a purely natural fabric, and isatis root already has several natural colors and does not require artificial dyeing, so it is more suitable for making close-fitting underwear. Yu Husheng explained that their product currently has an invention patent. The production process is to extract natural plant ingredients from isatis root, just like boiling traditional Chinese medicine, extract its soup, and then evaporate to dryness, leaving the Daqingye particles, which are then integrated into cotton fabrics through cloth glue, and filtered through Baking and other more than 10 procedures cleverly combine the two into one. This process is our patent and contains many technologies. The two combined cotton fabrics were extracted into cotton yarn, then woven into cloth, and then processed into clothing, which became “medicine clothing”. Our country’s Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces are major producers of isatis root, so the raw materials for this new fabric are very abundant.
