Introduction What are the models of Oxford cloth
What are the Oxford cloth models? There are many types of Oxford cloth, such as 1680D, 1200D, 1000D, 900D, 600D, 420D, 400D, 300D, 210D, 150D Oxford cloth, etc. Today I will simply list several commonly used Oxford cloths according to the D number.
1680D Oxford cloth is the strongest and most durable Oxford cloth mentioned above. 1680D Oxford cloth is a double-ply Oxford cloth, woven with a plain weave of 800D*800D with double warp and double weft. It has extremely strong tensile strength and wear resistance. Mainly used for high-end luggage fabrics.
600D Oxford cloth (6×6), woven from plain weave 600D*600D on a water-jet loom, with a width of about 150CM. 600D Oxford cloth has the characteristics of thick, good elasticity, strong firmness and good durability. Mainly used for bags, home furnishings, etc.
420D Oxford cloth has a density of 20×24, a gram weight of 210, and a door width of 150CM. After dyeing, finishing, waterproofing, PVC coating and other treatments, 420D Oxford cloth has bright colors, breathable, waterproof, fireproof, sunscreen, UV protection, mildewproof, wear-resistant and other properties. Mainly used for outdoor fabrics such as tents.
The conventional density of 210D Oxford cloth is 20×24 (the density and weight can be customized according to customer needs), and the square meter weight is around 155. 210D Oxford cloth can be made into the linings/compartments of packaging bags, handbags and luggage through ordinary post-processing processes, where soft texture and less wear and tear are required; if the requirements are slightly higher, it must undergo post-processing such as coating, waterproofing, and silver coating. Finally, it can be used to make car clothing, tents, shoe materials, backpacks, storage boxes, simply assembled wardrobes, advertising aprons, etc.
