Moisture-wicking finishing fabrics are made of moisture-wicking finishing materials. The main components of moisture-wicking finishing materials are block copolymers of polyethylene glycol and polyethylene phthalate – (CH2-CH2-O)n-( PET)-, this hydrophilic polymer has affinity for fibers such as polyester, giving the fiber a hydrophilic effect. It can simultaneously give the fabric the following excellent properties:

1. Sweat-absorbent and breathable: The fabrics treated with this product have excellent sweat-absorbent properties, good breathability, excellent wearability, moisture absorption and quick drying, and can quickly guide sweat and moisture away from the skin surface, which can eliminate the dryness, airtightness and dryness of synthetic fiber fabrics. Disadvantages such as not absorbing sweat.
2. Hydrophilic and antistatic properties: Fabrics treated with this product have excellent hydrophilicity, good antistatic properties, small electrostatic effects, are not easy to absorb dust, have certain anti-fouling properties, and are easy to wash.
3. Softness: The fabric treated with this product is soft and smooth, comfortable to the touch and elegant in style. So how to test the moisture wicking performance? CNAS accredited projects: AATCC 79-2010 Water absorption of textiles, ASTM D4772-2009 Test method for surface water absorption of terry fabrics (water flow test method), GB/T 22799-2009 Test method for water absorption of towel products.

1. Gross effect: Gross effect, that is, capillary effect. The wool effect test is generally used to detect the quality of textile pre-treatment. Especially for the two open-width dyeing methods of jig dyeing and pad dyeing, the uniformity of water absorption of the left, middle and right parts of the pre-treatment, as well as the uniformity of water absorption of the inner, middle and outer parts of the yarn before cheese dyeing, are generally used. Follow suit and test.
The specific method is: hang and fix one section of fabric or yarn with a specified width, and place one section in water or 0.5% potassium permanganate solution at a specified temperature, and test the height of the rise of the water or potassium permanganate solution within the specified time, or The time required to rise to the specified height, the test result is expressed in cm or seconds. The equipment is relatively simple.

2. Water dripping method: The water dripping method is generally used to quickly test the water absorption of textiles. For example, when a customer third-party inspects goods, the water dripping method can be used to quickly test the water absorption of textiles on site.
The specific method is: drop a drop of water on the textile at a specified height, and use a stopwatch to record the time until all the water droplets are absorbed, expressed in seconds. (1ml is about 18-20 drops, so 1 drop of water is about 0.05ml.) For customers with strict requirements, the dripping method will require instant inhalation (less than 1 second).

3. Settlement method: The settlement method is to test the time for a specified area of fabric to sink into water. For example, the water absorption test method of national standard towels is the settlement method.
The specific method is: cut off a specified number of fabrics with a specified area in different parts, and then put them into the water at a specified height. Use a stopwatch to record the time it takes for the fabric to completely sink into the water. Remember, it must have completely sunk into the water. The sedimentation method is also expressed in seconds. The smaller the value, the better the water absorption. If it exceeds 60 seconds, it is generally expressed as >60 seconds.
