Waterproof Oxford cloth is made by adding waterproofing agents during post-processing. Waterproofing agent is a water-based environmentally friendly non-ionic material with good acid and alkali resistance. If water drops fall on the fabric, the water droplets will slide off like a lotus leaf, and it has the characteristics of waterproof, moisture-permeable, breathable and insulating properties.
Waterproof Oxford Cloths have different waterproof capabilities depending on their uses. Oxford cloth with a waterproof pressure of 300mm is generally used for beach tents, sunshade tents or cotton tents in droughts and droughts; waterproof pressure of 800–1200mm is used for conventional simple camping tents; waterproof pressure of 1500–2000mm is used for mid-range tents. Suitable for multi-day travel; with a waterproof pressure of 3000mm or more, it is generally a professional tent that has been treated with high temperature resistance/cold resistance and other technologies. Ordinary tents usually use PE or PVC-coated waterproof Oxford cloth as the base material. High-end tents mostly use PU-coated Oxford cloth as the base material. The waterproof treatment must be at least 1500mm.
