The science and technology commissioners went deep into sericulture sites and fields to communicate with sericulture farmers, and put forward several protective measures against the current outbreaks of silkworm diseases such as abscess and stiffness: First, do a good job in cooling down the silkworm room, such as Install ventilation equipment indoors and install a spray device on the roof of the silkworm room to effectively cool down; secondly, during the period of raising large silkworms, “Panax notoginseng powder” needs to be used to dry and disinfect the silkworm bodies and silkworm seats every day; thirdly, ensure a reasonable density for raising large silkworms. Generally, no more than 500 large silkworms can be reared per square meter; fourth, during the production process, the silkworm room should always have plastic buckets filled with quicklime powder to correctly handle diseases and dead silkworms that appear in silkworm rearing to prevent the secondary spread of the disease source.
