“I have planted more than 1,000 acres of cotton this year, and the yield per mu is about 400 kilograms. From the beginning of spring sowing, we have adopted precision seeding technology, which is accurately positioned by the Beidou navigation system. The vertical error of sowing is small, ensuring Cotton pickers can be used during harvesting. This year, all my family’s cotton is picked by machines, and it is expected to be harvested in four days. The cotton picked by cotton pickers reduces our costs and improves cotton picking efficiency,” Chen Yukao said. .
It is understood that Bosten Lake Township will vigorously implement high-standard farmland construction this year, integrate land circulation, improve the level of mechanization and intelligent application, and comprehensively improve the scientific management of cotton growers level, providing a strong guarantee for stable and high cotton yields and increased income for cotton farmers.
“Currently, our township is equipped with a total of 13 cotton picking machines. We have organized personnel and debugged the cotton picking machines in advance, and started harvesting on October 1.
