Hello everyone!
Manufacturing industry is the foundation of a country and the foundation of a strong country. During this year’s National Two Sessions, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized: “China cannot lack manufacturing at any time.” As an important origin of China’s modern industry, Qingdao is not only a city with profound manufacturing heritage, but also a city where industrial heroes emerge in large numbers. Comrade Hao Jianxiu is an outstanding representative of the first generation of textile workers who came out of Qingdao. In the first year of fully implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we gather in this century-old textile city to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the “Hao Jianxiu Group”, which has important practical significance and profound value for the times. Here, on behalf of the China Textile and Apparel Industry Federation, I would like to express my congratulations on the hosting of the event. As the mother industry of China’s modern industry and an important component of Chinese-style modernization, the textile industry has always been an industrial sector rich in innovative practices and an influx of labor heroes. For more than 70 years, generations of textile workers have cherished the idea of being “the great one of the country”, stayed firm in their original aspiration and mission, displayed their ambitions and made contributions in their respective positions, bravely served as pioneers and devoted themselves to the journey of building a strong textile country, and created a brand worthy of the party and the people. A splendid undertaking worthy of the people and the times. The “Hao Jianxiu Group” named after Comrade Hao Jianxiu is an outstanding representative. It not only left a strong mark on Qingdao Textile, but also became a flag that will never fade in the Chinese textile industry.
Having bravely shouldered heavy responsibilities for 70 years, the team has demonstrated its responsibility for the times in overcoming difficulties. In the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, under weak and backward industrial conditions, Comrade Hao Jianxiu created the “spinning method” with high yield, high quality and low consumption, which effectively promoted the recovery and development of New China’s textile industry. Since the reform and opening up, in the face of the huge economic and social transformation, the team has dared to face problems and overcome difficulties, and with a high sense of responsibility and spirit of responsibility, it has continued to create economic value and people’s livelihood value in the wave of marketization, and served regional development and industrial development.
With 70 years of hard work and innovation, the group is at the forefront of development in innovative practice.
