The United States recalls children’s socks made in China
On August 18, 2021, the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s socks.
The recalled product is Nordstrom Tucker & Tate children’s socks. The product is ankle socks, sizes 5-7, 3 pairs per pack (1 pair gray, 1 pair white and blue, 1 pair white and red), with plush balls at the ankles. The UPC code is printed on the product packaging.
The plush ball of the product will fall off, posing a choking hazard to children.
The recalled products were sold in the United States from May to June 2021. About 370 pieces were sold, priced at about US$12.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
CPSC recommends that you stop using this product immediately and contact Nordstrom for a full refund.
