Chinatex Coordination Research: Fujian and Hebei strengthen confidence and adjust structure
From February 11 to 17, a group of 10 people including Wang Tiankai and Zhang Yankai, vice presidents of China Textile Industry Association, and Yang Jichao, secretary-general, rushed to the major textile provinces of Fujian and Hebei for inspection and research. Within a week, the research team met with the vice governors in charge of industry in the two provinces, visited multiple textile and garment clusters and more than ten enterprises, and held in-depth discussions with dozens of local government officials, heads of industry associations, and entrepreneur representatives .
Surveys show that after the Spring Festival, enterprises above designated size in the two provinces have started operations well. Entrepreneurs generally say that a crisis does not mean there is no market. They must do their own things well and then seek policy support. Local economic and trade committees have also carefully studied the spirit of the revitalization plan and put forward targeted implementation suggestions. In Fujian Province, members of the party and government teams are closely linked to billion-yuan enterprises, tracking corporate trends at any time and paying close attention to them.
Vice President Wang Tiankai expressed deep praise for the entrepreneurs’ fighting spirit. He said that although there are objective differences between textile companies in Fujian and Hebei due to different ownership and development backgrounds, everyone has the same belief in overcoming difficulties. Industry enterprises must seize market demand and do more system construction and integrated exploration of mechanisms and models. The association will fully serve the industry, reflect the voices of enterprises through various channels, and strive to promote industrial upgrading and structural adjustment.
