Yangmei Shenzhou: overload operation
In late November, the 200,000 tons/year coal-to-ethylene glycol project of Yangmei Group Shenzhou Chemical Co., Ltd. achieved 110% overload and stable operation.
The project has a single-line daily output of 330 tons and stable product quality. Polymer-grade ethylene glycol products are sold to Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong and other regions, and have been stably used in the polyester filament industry.
The construction of this device started in 2013 and was successfully started on April 15, 2016, and achieved high-load stable operation of 90% to 100%. The product quality has passed the inspection of the National Petrochemical Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and has reached the standards of high-quality products in GB/T 4649-2008 “Ethylene Glycol for Industrial Use”. Among them, the UV transmittance of the product is: 88.6% at 220nm, 95.2% at 275nm, and 99.3% at 350nm; the aldehyde content is only 0.2ppm; the product purity is 99.97%.
After intensive optimization, rectification and long-term stable operation after commissioning, the device’s key catalysts, esterification regeneration process, nitrogen oxide supplementation and comprehensive energy saving and consumption reduction technologies have been fully applied and tested. Ethylene glycol (polyester grade) also produces sulfur, ammonium sulfate and other by-products.
It is reported that the 400,000 tons/year (200,000 tons/year first phase) coal-to-ethylene glycol project of Yangmei Group Shouyang Chemical uses coal as raw material and undergoes coal storage and transportation, coal-water slurry gasification, purification, CO/H2 deep Cold separation, DMO synthetic distillation and ethylene glycol synthetic distillation are used to obtain high-quality ethylene glycol with a purity of 99.96%.
This project is a major Shanxi provincial transformation and comprehensive reform project and a new coal chemical industry demonstration project, with a total investment of 6.43 billion yuan. It is also an important part of the coal-electricity-chemical integrated circular economy industrial park in Shouyang County. The project is planned to be constructed in two phases, with an investment of 3.415 billion yuan in the first phase to build an annual output of 200,000 tons/year of ethylene glycol. The main product, ethylene glycol, is mainly used in the production of polyester fiber, polyester resin, antifreeze, lubricants, plasticizers and explosives.
Fude Cornell: Single unit test run completed
The Inner Mongolia Tongliao Fude Cornell coal-to-ethylene glycol project located in the Zalut High-tech Coal Chemical Industrial Park, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is progressing smoothly. As of early November, the Fude Cornell ethylene glycol project with a total investment of nearly 4 billion yuan has been completed. The monomer test run has been completed, and the joint test run will soon be launched to open up the entire process.
Liu Changshan, deputy general manager of Inner Mongolia Cornell Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., said that at present, 95% of the steel structure engineering and civil engineering of the project have been completed, 90% of the installation engineering has been completed, and 95% of the construction has been completed. At present, the single unit test run of the project equipment has basically been completed, and the conditions for joint test run have been met, and we strive to produce qualified products through early test run.
According to reports, after the project is put into production and achieves results, the annual sales revenue is expected to reach 2 billion yuan, with profits and taxes of more than 200 million yuan, and can provide employment for 2,000 people.
It is understood that Fude Cornell plans to invest 6.2 billion yuan in the first phase of the 300,000 tons/year ethylene glycol project, with 300,000 tons/year of ethylene glycol. The second phase of the project plans to invest 9 billion yuan and produce 600,000 tons of ethylene glycol annually. The project is EPC general contracted by Donghua Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. The ethylene glycol production process adopts the Ube Kosan process, using local lignite produced in Inner Mongolia as raw material, and the gasification technology uses the Colin dry pulverized coal gasification process to produce syngas.
Weihua: Project environmental impact assessment approved
In early November, the environmental impact assessment report of Shaanxi Weihe Coal Chemical Group Co., Ltd. Binzhou Chemical’s 300,000 tons/year coal-to-ethylene glycol project was approved by the Xianyang Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, detailing the pollution prevention and control measures during the construction and production process of the project. Require. At the same time, long-term equipment ordering for the project was officially launched.
The Weihua coal-to-ethylene glycol project is located in the Xinminyuan Modern Coal Chemical Industrial Park in Bin County, Shaanxi Province, with a total investment of 5.495 billion yuan, including 444 million yuan in environmental protection investment, accounting for approximately 8.08% of the total investment. The project construction content includes main projects such as gasification equipment, purification equipment, and ethylene glycol synthesis equipment, as well as public supporting facilities such as water supply and drainage, desalted water stations, storage and transportation projects, and environmental protection projects such as waste gas treatment, wastewater treatment, and solid waste disposal. After the completion of the project, in addition to the annual output of 300,000 tons of ethylene glycol, it will also by-produce 17,576 tons of crude DMC, 5,336 tons of DMO heavy components, 5,920 tons of fusel oil, 13,440 tons of ethylene glycol light fractions, 6,048 tons of heavy fractions, and 4,321 tons of sulfur. wait.
